How do you use essential oils? There are all kinds of ways. Let’s talk about five popular ways that are aromatic. Using Essential oils that are inhaled in different ways will expose your body to essential oils in more ways than some. If you are looking to relax, heal, or concentrate these might be some methods for you.

Diffusion

It is the most popular way to diffuse the aroma. Choose a cold air diffuser it breaks up the oils in a mist which will linger in the air for hours, Once the oil is suspended in the air it will help with any emotional or physical ailments. Essential oils don’t mask the odor in the air as commercial sprays do. They interact with molecules that our bodies think they are odors. just a tip* don’t diffuse clove or cinnamon oils they can burn the nasal membranes if inhaled.

Direct Inhalation

Place a few drops of oil in the palm of your hand, rub them together, and breathe in deeply, take a few deep breathe. you can always inhale directly from the bottle as well. The benefits of doing this is it has immediate effects. Just be careful you don’t get it in your eyes.

This method is perfect for any upper respiratory ailments you may have. Start with a steaming bowl of water, add some drops of oil and put your head over with a towel over you and the bowl. Humidifier or Vaporizer

A Humidifier is great in disperse the oil through your rooms, Place several drops of oil on a cloth. Do not put the oil in the machine.It has the same benefits as diffusion.

Indirect Inhalation

Diffusion, water vapors, put some oil on a cotton ball and put it near a fan which is a great for air circulation. Doing this may have a positive influence on the effects you are looking for these reasons oils to work.
